Child-Parent-Relationship (C-P-R) Training is an evidence-based parenting course where caregivers learn how to use some of the same skills at home that professional play therapists use in the playroom, which have been shown to reduce unwanted behaviors as well as parent & teacher stress.
In addition to general populations, this model has successfully been used with incarcerated parents, immigrant parents, single parents, grandparents, parents of chronically-ill children, parents of children with learning difficulties, non-offending parents of children who have been abused, moms in domestic violence shelters, Head Start teachers, teachers of the deaf, undergraduate teachers in training & adoptive parents.
